Danny, you hit this on the head. My good hell… I am so tired of dealing with the “circle of trust” and I can’t think of a better way to describe it… perfect Danny!

Danny, you hit this on the head. My good hell… I am so tired of dealing with the “circle of trust” and I can’t think of a better way to describe it… perfect Danny!

I started a few sites last Fall and now, just NOW, they are finally starting to show up. Yes, most of them are relevant, there are a few PURE ad type setup pages But hey, don’t we all do that to some extent!

The company I work for, we’ll just call it IdahoSoft (not really, but I do not want to publicly announce my place of employment) has been ranking forever, number 1-3 in most occurrences, sometimes the top 5!

Anyways, we’ve been in this circle of trust, or as I’ll call it the shit ring (any site outside the shit ring, isn’t’ worth a shit in google) and have enjoyed high rankings forever. I can publish a page on any type of random topics… with, of course, paying close attention to standard SEO practices. This page will usually rank in the top 10 within a few weeks.

So, to SUM it up, the circle of Shit, or the Shinizil Circle… holds true!

God dammit! When is this madness going to stop within the search engine world. I’m just sick of the anti-spam techniques the search engine’s are coming up with. Now pretty much all the Wiki articles, the blog sites, and other forum/feedback type sites are using the rel=”nofollow” tags. This means when you post on another blog, the code within the hypertext a href=”blah blah blah” rel=”nofollow” !!! Meaning if a search engine spiders that page, they will not follow the link to the hypertext linked URL. This can help in some cases, but they are also penalizing the valid links that may have quite a bit info on the originating page.

Just another front on the war of anti-spamming. Once again, us commoners are fucked!

Pretty cool article on various search engines other than the obvious, Google and Yahoo. I really don’t know why this would be a popular page. Anyone who knows SE’s and the dark art SEO understands that Goolge the answer to everyone’s questions. Nothing else really matters regarding optimizing. Unless of course, you’re going for affiliate marketing.

The company I work for, we’ll call it Company X from now on, receives about 90% of it’s referral traffic from Google. Not just the US Google, but from other Googles and countries I’ve never heard of.

So until that drops, Google is the Master we must please.
