The contestants will start in Pocatello, travel over to Blackfoot. Then they will head up to Idaho Falls and Rexburg. From there they will proceed on to St. Anthony, and Salmon. Then they will go west to Challis, Stanley and over to Riggins through McCall. From Riggins they will go back down to Cambridge, Weiser, over to Payette and Fruitland.

They would travel through Caldwell, Nampa and Boise, taking I-84 to Mountain Home, Jerome and Twin Falls. The final leg will be through Burley, Rupert, American Falls, ending back in Pocatello.

Each contestant will be driving a pink Volvo with California license plates and a LARGE bumper sticker that reads:

“I’m gay. I’m a Vegetarian. Beer is harmful to your health. Republicans Suck. Hillary in 2008. Deer hunting is murder, and I’m here to confiscate your guns

The first one that makes it back to Pocatello alive, wins. Good luck to all contestants.

Talk to someone you KNOW before your commit. You’re crazy if you let a complete stranger (Meaning neither you or someone you know has any history or experience with this provider)! I can’t stress enough to talk to people who have been with a day care provider for more than a year. A web cam is a pretty good idea also. If I had to put my kids day care, which I will do everything possible to not let happen, a web cam would be a must.

My wife and I have been lucky and have worked our schedules to work out for the better. We have two lil ones, 5 and 7… who have not spent one hour, or one minute in a daycare center. In other words… we have kept our children out of a stranger’s care, 100%. This is something we are both proud of. Sure, it takes some working out and patience, we don’t see much of each other… but our kids are safe with us and don’t have to listen to someone who is just being paid to watch our kid.

So.. to sum up, TRY to work things out. Sacrifice your time together if needed, anything to keep your child out of some one’s hand you don’t know Sh*t about! I think we have made it through the tough times, me working 8-5, the wife working here and there… 5-10 at night. We still get quality time together, and our kids our in our hands.

I am against the government ruling our thoughts and the way we live but some of these are to protect the kids, who CAN’T make their own choice, who DO NOT understand what can happen to them if they fly off the road. This is to protect the children who’s parents have no clue of security or safety.

Way to many times I’ve been driving down the road and see kids standing in the front seat, kids sitting backwards, kids not buckled, parents smoking in the car, talking on the cell phone, etc… These type of parents are 100% dirt bags.

Question: Would YOU want your kid riding with a parent who is talking on the cell phone, smoking with the Windows up, and driving around Idaho Falls unbuckled? If you said yes, you truly are a dirt bag.

Sure, Idaho Falls does not have tons of traffic, a seat belt may or may not save their life. But the fact is… it CAN save the little one’s life in an unexpected accident. Who knows if someone doesn’t see a stop sign and rams into the side of your car at 35mph, throwing your kid out onto 17th St, after they have smashed through the Window.

Who knows, maybe your little child’s arm, or leg, or head will be smashed while exiting the car because they weren’t restrained… pretty sick eh? pretty real.

So, all the dirtballs out there who don’t think it’s good to require a seat belt on your little one. Go to the top of your roof, throw a watermelon off your roof onto the cement and see what happens. This could be your kids head.

You’ve all seen it, many times on our roads in Idaho, kids without seat belts. Help these kids, spread the word.

Look people, get it through your head before you lose a child… protect them, that is your number one job as a parent, do all you can to protect your little girl or boy. Do you really need to be told this? If you were doing this, you wouldn’t give a shit about what the law is… you’d just DO IT!
